Would you like to learn what the buzz is really all about? Honeybees are only one species out of 20,000 different kinds of bees that live on this planet! And, did you know that the majority of those bees are solitary, lone riders. Some of these solitary ladies, yes ladies, will nest in wooden holes!
Join Jessica Goldstrohm, Owner of The Bees Waggle, for a workshop on solitary bees that includes painting your own solitary bee house! Of course, a house is no good without the knowledge you need to understand the bees you’ll house, so Jessica will be starting the workshop off with a talk about various types of native bees we have living in Colorado, and which ones will nest in your beautifully painted house. Cost includes the talk, house, and bee house supplies.
Cost: $25/person (house). This is a steal!
Registration required to hold your space. Please register on Eventbrite or stop by Four Seasons Market to reserve your space.
